LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE

The Human Services Department mission is: To transform lives. Working with our partners, we design and deliver innovative, high quality health and human services that improve the security and promote independence for New Mexicans in their communities.

Supports Waiver

New Mexico’s new Supports Waiver (SW) is a Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver that is an option for individuals who are on the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver Wait List . Supports Waiver services are intended to complement unpaid supports that are provided to individuals by family and others.

You keep your place on the Wait List, whether you choose to accept Supports Waiver offer or not. Contact the Intake and Eligibility Bureau for more information about the Wait List.
