CSED Bench Warrant Program
Governor Susana Martinez announced the Child Support Bench Warrant program last July to replace the quarterly publication of the 25 Most Wanted list that was discontinued by the previous administration. The new program goes far beyond the requirements of the previous program by publishing the names of hundreds of non-custodial parents who have failed to comply with their court ordered child support obligations. All non-custodial parents having outstanding bench warrants for their arrest will have their names published.
In order to encourage individuals having an outstanding warrant for their arrest to come forward and make payment toward their support obligations, the Human Services Department, Child Support Enforcement Division will be extending a one week amnesty period during which these individuals may come into their local CSED office and pay their bond without fear of arrest.
Following the expiration of the one week amnesty period, a list of all individuals failing to pay their bonds will be released to law enforcement for service of the warrant. All individuals found by law enforcement will be booked into a correctional facility and will be held until their bond is paid, or the matter is heard by a district court judge.
The successful amnesty and bench warrant sweep period are over for this period. We will update this site with a new amnesty period next year.
